Type D

Type D Big Bags are made of special antistatic fabric which dissipates the static charges accumulated on Big Bags safely to the atmosphere through low-energy corona discharges. The use of Type D or dissipative Big Bags eliminates the risk of hazardous electrostatic discharge which might be originated by mishandling practices on earthing or grounding of the Big Bags. Type D Big Bags has to be used in presence of flammable vapor or gases, or combustible dust with ignition energies of 3 mJ or less.
